Warren began his career with the Cape Provincial Roads Department, before joining the family business operating in the Transkei. After three years in the retail sector, he returned to his engineering roots by joining Norland Construction, a civil engineering construction company based in Queenstown.
His dedication and project successes led to his appointment as a Director and shareholder within five years. He has always held a strong belief in giving back to the industries and communities that shaped him. He served on the National Council of the South African Forum of Civil Engineering Contractors (SAFCEC) from 2002 to 2009. Warren describes himself as a “commodity junkie”, with a keen interest in the markets. He is optimistic about the future of the South African mining sector and sees significant potential under the leadership of the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy.
Skill Set: Large-scale project management, in-depth knowledge of listed investment markets, governance and advisory capabilities, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, multidisciplinary team leadership.
